Foaling Tests Promise to save the lives of thousands of Miniature Horse Foals

With the reported high incidences of foaling death in miniature horses, Vets say that hundreds of miniatures die unnecessarily every year because of the birthing problems associated with un-assisted labor.  Blood, milk and ultrasound tests can provide miniature horse breeders with an opportunity transport their mare to a vet hospital where a medically-trained staff be present to assist in the delivery.
